i think i need to mix it a little bit better, and then do an actual attempt at a master.

i just made this song yesterday, i might need to spend a little extra time on it to give it that extra 10%

but fuck man i have no idea how you can crack a tune out in a day like that it takes me weeks before i even feel slightly ok showing someone haha

Sometimes it just flows really well. I’ve been doing a lot of half an hour speed sessions, where i try to make some sort of drum beat, loop, or melodic line. I think its been helping.

im with ya there… i do everything in my power to get the melody/arrangement down within an hour and i usually do… but then the mixing and fx and all the other crap takes ages. i did a lot of reading into peoples work flows and they all mention that this is a good practice so im sure over time i’ll speed up lol.

anywho sorry to go off topic, post the update when you mix it and what not.. i’ll play it out. been into this sound recently thanks to low steppa/greco/skapes/etc
