ok so ive had many beers!! but just wanted to report my experience tonight with my s4 and my windows laptop.

since i got my s4 at the beginning of June if been really panicking about audio drop outs, pops and crackles!!! i read lots and lots of horror stories about sound major sound issues and how windows 7 machines just cant cut it!!

Well i firstly got some really sound advice from Jonathan Blake and then followed some of Smitttens tips for optimizing windows 7. and as of now ive been at a party using my setup for 9 hours and not had one single glitch or sound issue!!! 9 HOURS!!!

I’m desperately trying to get to a similar state myself, although I am five hours behind you!

Great to hear things are working out for you! At very least, we can confirm that there are working S4s on at least three continents.

There’s probably not a day that goes by when I don’t marvel at the joys of my TP2/S4/X1 set-up on W7. Finally got my KRK5’s yesterday, and wallowed in glorious glitch-free sounds for a couple of hours. Glad for you Koop. Thanks for posting.

Just looked at the original pic - its the ER from the MASTER indicator that was somehow reflecting. F&*^, I am not mysterious anymore…
