Juardo evolution - Xone 92 & 1210’s & different tables.

Inspired by the great picture threads you guys make, i’m going to show you a little bit of my world. :slight_smile:

2007 - Just bought the new DVS system Torq, wanted Serato but it was to expensive at that time (600$ :scream: )

2008 - Bought 2x Pioneer CDJ800’s + brackets and upgraded to the Macbook (black) and Serato (finally), since Torq was a big disappointment.

2009 - Sold the CDJ’s and kept it simple.

2009 - Wanted everything to be “all black”, so i’ve sold the 1200’s and bought 1210 instead.

2010 - I’ve heard of the Xone 92 mixer and wanted to try it out. Turned out to have great sound quality. Loved the warmness over the crystal clear digital. :heart_eyes: Also at that time i’ve started to look into the Traktor DVS system and had both Serato & Traktor for a while, trying both out, pros & cons. Traktor was a clear winner at that time.

2010 - Bought a little controller, the best one i’ve seen yet. Faderfox LV2, a little warrior that did not take much place at all and was super portable.

2011 - Got a new DJ table and a Macbook Air.

2014 - Moved into a new apartment and made my own “mancave” :smiley: , with a new DJ-table.

- Added som vinyl classics to the wall.

- Bought a Go Pro cam and started to take some better quality pictures ::roll eyes:

- A overview of my DJ-stuff :slight_smile:

- Next up is to buy some monitor stands for the wall :slight_smile:

nice, what kind of stuff do you use the fader fox for?

Thanks! It’s from Glorious DJ, it’s name is Soundboard2.

I use it for loops and two sets of FX control in Traktor. One for each deck. (2 decks), and also for cuepoints and different view modes.

Btw floor stands is the way to go for speakers over wall mounts…you can reposition them which is nice..and less transfer of vibrations to the wall.

What do you use for track selection? You just use the trackpad or have you mapped the faderfox for that?

Trying to decide what to do myself as I’ve moved from the Z2 to a Xone DB2 and I miss the midi functionality (switching into midi-mode to browse every other song doesn’t sound fun.. )

I have mapped the endless rotary knobs on the Faderfox for that, makes selecting tracks much faster but sometimes i find myself using the keyboard when i want something more specific. I really like the Faderfox midi controllers. They are really nice, small and portable and they have a good feel to their knobs and faders. It’s a mystery why its discontinued on their website www.faderfox.de :rage:
