Vci 100 fw 1.2, tempo fader soft takeover not working.

Just got a used vestax vci 100, firmware 1.2, loaded the generic control map from the official vestax website, and can’t get the soft take over function on the tempo faders to work. basically I enable sync on one deck, and then disable it, move the fader, and the tempo fader in the software will move instantly to where i physically moved the fader, it should only move in the software when i physically move it to where it was synced! HELP.
