But they do help steer people in the right direction.
For example, I love house and especially deep house, but am not a fan of Dubstep or electro at all.
So, if you’re stuff is leaning more towards the house/deep house side of things I’d be all over that. BUT, if it’s leaning more towards the electro/commercial side of things I would more than likely not enjoy it.
So… what kind of stuff are you making, or at least what label did you get signed to? Most labels usually have an identity or brand so that’s another good way to figure out if I’d dig it or not.
Fair enough. I’m making Electro house and I’ve been signed to Big Alliance Records and Rhinofist Records. Although my stuff is considered “electro”, I draw influences from all types of music. My stuff is pretty melodic…not as groovy as house/deep house, so might not be your cup of tea.
Nopes, not really something I’d be interested in. But good job getting signed none the less! Remember when I first got signed, I was over the moon to put it lightly. Just keep at it brother man.
while it’s not totally my cup of tea i like the previews alot. sounds like very solid productions. love the bass music influence to your tracks. they made a good choice signing you up.
oh and i’m amazed that you’ve put this out after only 8 months of producing.
Thanks for the kind words. Do you happen to have a link to your music? In addition to electro, I also enjoy house/deep house, would love to take a listen to your stuff.
Thanks, I’ve put in a lottt of time and found some really great resources. The laidback luke forums “production tips” thread has helped me SO much, so much quality stuff there.
Dude Congrats, I Seriously Envy you! Just downloaded Ableton live and hope to be making decent tracks in close to a year. anyways when you become a superstar you should come to Cairns, Australia.
