Just had an epiphany.

I got home from work about 3 hours ago, loaded up my S4, plugged in my Remix deck. Since I bought it I haven’t had a chance to use both together properly, now I have the better control of the loop recorder and master EQ of the remix deck. I recorded a few things and had a little mess around, actually got some great beats going. My stomach was all “You need to eat, ya know” and I was like “Yeah, good point talking stomach” so I went downstairs to get some eats.

I came back upstairs after dinner to walk into the beautiful sun set outside my window, and the S4 and F1 in all their LED glory, and for a moment I was absolutely stunned by how amazing it looks. Hate them or love them, NI have made some absolutely beautiful gear. The way the left deck lights up when remix sets are running is especially nice.

Anyone else had a delayed reaction to how fantastic their gear is?

My DJ booth is by my living room windows with view on the lake. My boyfriend leaves for work when the sun rises. I often get up and load a podcast or something and I imagine a DJ mixing for me with the amazing view! And I just stare at the blank, with all my gear turned on and I have a tiny heart attack. I love it!

I used to be the same but I find I’m now looking at my controller more now I have 8 faders to look at.

yeah actually i stare at the mixer all the time but when i raise my head it’s just ‘hello wall’

It was full of fudge. The only bad thing is the quadruple figure calorie count, I’m gonna be too fat use the cross fader because my flabby bitch tits will be in the way.

I actually got a midi filter spectra. And when it’s on stand by mode, the whole thing glows like a rainbow. I noticed one night when I went to sleep and woke up in the middle of the night and my whole room looked all crash with colors. It’s was amazing.
