Just wondering if anyone has made a midi-fighter mapping for the MPD18?
I remember seeing one somewhere, not sure if it was here. The mpd18 closely resembles a midi fighter classic so I was just wondering if anyone had made one yet.
if all u want is to emulate a midifighter in normal mode - for maps like the deckalised then you just use your mpd18 editor to change what midi data is sent out - make it match what the midifighter sends.
if you want to emulate a 4banks midifighter to use tsi’s like the instant grat one then u need to use 3rd party software like my midimasher to do the translation.
i don’t own one but someone did contribute this definition file http://midimasher.djism.com/lua/devices/mpd18.lua and a config file called “mpd18_midifighter_4banks” which is meant to emulate a 4banks midifighter with a mpd18 - then u just load the traktor midifighter instant grat tsi file as u would with a real midifighter.
wait i dont get it… i have the mpd18 and im trying to get it to work along side my mixtrack pro… i want it to basically work as the midi fighter, how do i get the remix decks to correspond to the pads?? like theres four groups with four samples… i want each pad to play the corresponding samples. pleaseeeeee helpp
