Kaoss Pad Mini Settings

Hi.

I use a kaoss mini as a send/return on my mixer when in DJing for delay.

When I use a normal kaoss pad 3 I get a clean delay sound. When I use the mini I get quite a phased sound. When it starts up it says “Dir” which I assume means Direct.

Am I doing something wrong here?

Is there a way to set up as a send and should I be doing that?

for your info the x-y on the mini kp and the kp3 is slightly different.

ok… but can you tell me the difference between send and direct and what mode i should be in for delay FX from mixer?

if u use the send/return u have to use the send mode, direct is grooveboxes or if u manipulate the master signal etc.

Ah cool… thanks… any idea how to change what mode (dir/send) it starts up in?

hold down memory button a then b and turn the knob. u can toggle between dir and send
