Katapult doesn’t detect my launchpad via USB
Has anybody been through this?
I’ve encountered this, I think it’s because windows 7 names midi devices like 1-launchpad or 2-launchpad rather than just calling it ‘launchpad’ and I haven’t found a way to fix this. It’s really annoying since it seems like every time i connect a controller the number is different, so traktor and ableton will need to be re-configured every time since they don’t recognize it’s the same device because the name has changed slightly. I just realized this today… it’s super freaking annoying I hope someone can figure out a way to change this.
Is the developer of Launchpad still supporting the app? It’s all gone a bit quiet on the website…
