Knob help
Hi I want to make a knob, that only goes till like 50% of the rotation
as for a small example an EQ High knob so that when i turn it from zero to 50 it’s in the middle and that I would not be able 2 go higher than 50% if I turn it to the fullest 100%…
is this possible?
don’t know how to set my rotary sensitivity and acceleration to make it work like that…

Isn’t there a workaround in traktor itself?
I’m not planning in using another app outside of traktor to do that…

You probably could do it, but you would need to set a modifier, which probably won’t suit. I don’t think there’s going to be an option for an auto modifier (on) when the eq reaches a certain point on a particular knob.
If you do set a modifier, make another command, and change the knob to button or encoder, only working when modifier is active. That’ll send the knob rotation to a whole value, that will jump from zero to 100% on minimum rotation on the knob.
At a glance, I don’t know if it can be set from one knob without adding extra control via a Modifier.
Add IN > Modifier
Encoder
Relative
Sensitivity 300% + Invert On
This modifier will split the knob range in two sections
center and to the far left is value=0
center and to the far right is value=7
