Kontrol D2 MIDI mode / control buttons inside of Ableton
Hello DJTT crew,
although I’m following DJTT for years now, this is the first time I ever write a post myself.
I’m facing a huge problem with MIDI mapping and I really hope you guys can help me:
I’m running both Traktor and Ableton on the same machine using 2x Kontrol D2 for MIDI control.
Ableton is used for send/return effects as well as a host for NI Maschine.
Like described in this article, I want to use the D2s in MIDI mode to control effects inside of Ableton:

This works perfectly well for Faders and Knobs, but for buttons I’m facing this problem:
They always need to be triggered twice before something happens, which is not usefull in any way.
Although I’ve tried nearly everything I can imagine, I just can’t find a way to work around this problem.
Already tried the same thing for a receive mapping in Traktor only and here it works just fine.
Is there any point I’m missing? Or some way to fix this?
