Kontrol S4 + DJM2000

Hello, i just got a quick question.

At the club that im playing at this week-end, they have a DJM2000. i use the KS4..

So as always i plug my s4 master out to 1 of the channels on the mixer, can i use the effects on the DJM2000 to effect the sound from the KS4?

I don’t see why not. The mixer doesn’t know if it’s an S4 or a CDJ, it’s just got audio coming into one if it’s channels.

Well, the DJM2000 could know what’s connected to it if it also spits out useful info over the RJ45 connector! Awesome mixer, that piece of gear.

As long as your putting in analoge audio, you bet!

Tried it at the club last night, works great! No hassle with rca main outs from the mixer bla bla bla!
