Kontrol S4 wobbly knobs!

Hello,

New to the forum!

So ive had my S4 a little while now for around 2 months been using it mainly everyday.
Pretty much all of my EQ knobs are already super loose is there anyway to tighten these ?

Are you gripping them tightly between your fingers, and putting weight on them as you turn? In a “performance enhancing” style, maybe?

Because if you are, then you are damaging the pots.

I grip kinda hard to be honest yeah, mainly so I dont overturn or underturn the nobs? so im kinda stuck then nothing I can really do other than send to NI?

I used to have an s4 and had the same problem, now I have a djm850, how come the same doesn’t happen with the djm? I think the s4 has serious build quality issues.

I had one and channel b’s hi knob went loose after a while. I complained to NI and they sent me a new knob, of course it did nothing. It just happens after general use.

Same thing happens with all the controllers with knobs made of plastic. Just go easy on them and they’ll last.
