Looks like the browse knob only scrolls up/down in the currently loaded playlist???
Yup. MK2 can do it when you hold shift. Might be able to do something like that by editing the mapping though.
Easy enough to map mate. I have mine mapped to shift + left browse (also opens and closes folders at the same time)
I’ve been playing with it. It is really easy to re-map.
I can see that I’ll be heavily re-mapping the stock layer, as well as the shifted layer and both midi layers.
It is really hard mixing 2 decks with 1 X1!

Yeah the MK2 was a huge step up. You can really tell the the MK1 was really built as an accompanying controller for DVS users.

Kontrol X1 Browse behaviour (modifier?)
This has got me stumped.
Trying to have the LEFT browse knob/button act as TREE scroll up/down, and press to expand/collapse tree/playlist.
But I ALSO want browse press to load to Deck A when the focus is in the List window (not the tree).
Pretty sure it can’t be done without using a shift layer - but open to suggestions???
Had to use a modifier.
Assigned M5=0 to the left browse knob, so when M5=0, left load press=tree expand/collapse, then mapped M5=1 to the RIGHT Browse knob, and when M5=1, left load press=load selected track to Deck A. Works a treat. Allows me to navigate to a folder in the (collapsed) tree, then browse tracks and load to decks a & b.

Agreed. It’s fucking infuriating, though, that you can only adjust one parameter at a time. It takes a lifetime to do anything.
Whatever happened to ExtremeMapping?
I hope they’ve made some serious changes to how mapping is done in Traktor Pro 3…
