Kontrol x1 problem

hey guys

ive had my kontrol x1 for a month now and im loving it

i have recently upgraded to traktor scratch pro 2

but when i plug in the x1, all the LEDS light up, and even when i use it, all of them stays on, his has defeated its purpose by using “hotcue” button to interchange between cue points and other functions. and i cant tell which effects are on, unless i look at my laptop(one of the reasons i bought the x1)

can anybody help me?

also could the kontrol x1 be used with production software such as Albeton Live 8?

Have you checked your off state brightness in preferences?

Search the forum about kontrol x1 w/ ableton. There was a thread in the general talking about how Deadmau5 uses two kontrol x1s for his set up.

yeah i did, even tho i changed them they still all light up
