Kontrol X1 Problem

I just got a X1 last week connected it up and played around with it with no issues , I tried it tonight and can’t get it to work uploaded Padi’s tsi to try and nothing worked the lights flicker when I plugged it in but then nothing .

I reset it back to the default settings in traktor and installed the latest drivers but still nothing working , the shift button lights up and and hot cue but nothing else is working.

The only thing i have done is install Maschine tonight and had that working but not sure how this would effect the X1.

Try and reinstall the drivers from the NI site.

Check if it (for some odd reason) it is in MIDI mode, Hotcue button should be lit green if this is the case, shift+hotcue returns you to regular HID.

I will uninstall the drivers tonight and reload the new ones again , Padi I can get it to toggle between midi and HID but nothing else these are the only buttons or encoders that do anything .
One other thing was the usb cable seems a bit loose when fitted in the X1 but the lights on shift and hotcue are coming on so I take it is powered up.

In/Out ports are properly set?

Yes had them set correct I think will try again tonight at work at the moment .Cheers

Got it working not sure what was wrong , reinstalled the drivers and did setup wizard and working fine , going to try your map later Padi.

I have two X1 controllers. I have problem with one of them. I installed all things about it… latest driver version etc. but it doesn’t work. When I put USB cabel the lights slide up and then nothing more. When i put the cabel in the other X1 it work fine. I dont know what is the problem…hardware or software.

I had exactly the same problem when I bought a 2nd hand X1 this week. I just had to re-install all the latest drivers, and then all of a sudden it worked. Was getting very nervous I had bought a Dud

From beginning I have one X1 which don’t work. From first time it doesn’t work. I reinstalled many many a time and still doesn’t work. I dont know does it hardware or software problem. :disappointed:
