Kontrol X1 + Trigger Finger …

I was wondering if some one could lend me a quick opinion on this ??

Currently I have an M-Audio Trigger Finger I use as my controller. I also use it as a mixer since it has the 4 faders on it and the actual mixer I have has a broken crossfader thus I use the Trigger Finger for that.

I also have an X1 that I haven’t used because , well , the crossfader on my mixer is broken.

So what i’m attempting to do is …

use the Trigger finger only for Cue point juggling , crossfader / channel faders , and the knobs for Hi , Mid , and Low EQ’s.

use the X1 for everything else … mainly Effects , track browsing/loading, tempo adjustment , ect …

…

Should I import the X1 initially and then import the Trigger Finger Mappings as the 2nd or the other way around ??

I’ve never done any custom mapping myself either …

If anyone has any better ideas on how to utilize these 2 controllers in a better way - feel free to share :slight_smile:

Update for anyone that gives a shit …

My main .tsi was already set up for the trigger finger … All i did was plug in the X1’s usb cable and a little box popped up saying “traktor has detected the presence of an X1” or something like that … I clicked ok and i’m able to use both with no problem. There are a couple of settings that overlap but its no problem.
