Korg MicroKontrol or Akai Mpk 25 ?

hello guys,
I want to buy for personal use a midi keyboard controller for production and i need a bit of help in choosing what to buy.

So “Korg MicroKontrol or Akai Mpk 25”?

I recently sold my MicroKontrol only bc I wasnt getting full use out of it, but you can program 12 presets into, change individual trigger channels and midi notes, plus the microkontrol has 16 pads. the keys are small tho..
unless there’s any reason not to get the mpk25, I say go for either one… whichever feels right.

Hey!

I have never used the Korg but I own the MPK 25. They both get good reviews.
I moded the pads on the MPK myself to make them more sensitive (youtube video). Never have had a problem with it. Korg has more sliders - MPK has more Knobs. If you were really hoping to do some drumming I’d go MPK.

Mpk is a much better feeling controller, a lot more solid.

Aswell i`m looking at Novation SL MkII wich has some sliders. Forgot to tell, i want some sliders too :slight_smile:

novations impulse will be shipping soon also. actually testing the keys with my own hands is pretty important for me when i choose.
