KRK Rokit decision

Hi

I will buy a pair of KRK Rokit RP 6. Just cant stop watching special edition in white color.

I found SE with stands for 444€

or should I just get classic black ones for 380€?

Ask yourself Q’s as in

Does the color make a diference? no
Do you care if there black?
Do you really need the stands?

I nearly went for the white ones but is white gear just a phase? will they still look sexy in a year or 2? maybe?

I went for the black in the end with stands and the black are just as nice to look at in the flesh :wink:

Will the white ones become yellowish over time?

I heard if something was available in white…it makes it tons better…

KRKs are really good sounding for studio monitors.

I have stands for my KRK 8’s… full height… nice for DJ sets :sunglasses:

Personally i’d either get the White one’s or the Black and Grey one’s.

I own the Ferrari Red ones, at first I didn’t like the color, but they grew on me. However, I bought those cause I got them for $89 each - brand new.

I believe KRK’s are very good as entry level monitors.

It’s very good value for money but sounding wise they are still years light of some of the best monitors (speaking of 2-3k euros a piece monitors)l.

For most people it will be more than enough :slight_smile:

Can’t go wrong for that price range. :slight_smile::smiley:

Got a white ASUS N61J and a white 12inchskinz on my S4…with black KRK6’s. White not available in South Africa - velly jelly.
