KRK V4 good as a monitor?

hey guys, i found a guy selling a KRK V4 monitor for a hundred bucks. i was just wondering how good it would be as a monitor for club/party gigs.

so what do you think? good deal? suited for what i want to do with it?

Eh, so you want to take it somewhere that has a soundsystem already and use this as a monitor or you want to use these as a PA system?

Not brilliant for a club, but good for home use and maybe house parties

i want to use it as a monitor for myself only in a club/party setting that already has a sound system. I use my headphones solely for cue and never have the mix going through them. so what do you think? This is an active monitor, right?
