KX1 problem

KX1 problem

When I plug my X1 lights go on only for few seconds and then nothing. I have had this problem, solved it with restarting Traktor. Now I have reinstalled the Traktor, Kontrol X1 drivers but still nothing. I also tried custom mapping but it says “no mappable controller”.

Thanks

I preferences there’s an option for off state brightness. I have mine set at around 7 I think.

have had this problem a few times on my old laptop. I “fixed” it by rebootig my laptop with the X1 plugged in otherwise traktor wouldn’t see it…

Tried both, still nothing.

Please, I need x1 tomorrow!

Did you try uninstalling the drivers first and then installing the latest drivers?

Yes I did…

Re: KX1 problem

Had a similar problem. When you press buttons, does the software indicate that a signal is coming through? Near top of screen. If not, here’s what I did to fix the sane issue with me (and another issue as well). I backed up anything important related to traktor on an external drive. Then uninstalled traktor. Then deleted anything related to traktor on my computer. And disk images, tsi files, pref files, anything that came up when I searched traktor or native or x1. Then restarted comp, powered on and installed traktor ( all with x1 unplugged). I went through install process, was prompted to restart. Then upon restart I updated usig NI content updater or whatever. I finally opened it and went through setup, plugging x1 in only when it said. That did it for me, but I would use this method only as a last resort.

I got Audio 8 DJ today, also not recognized.

Have you by any chance removed or not installed the controller editor? I had this issue once too.

If you have not installed or removed the controller editor I would recommend you to remove everything (drivers too) and reinstall everything at once.

also, I’ve sometimes found deletedin the USB Root Controlle driver then letting the system reinstall it helps…

had the same problem w my X1 when I was trying to plug it in for the first time.
Its the Controller Editor.
Uninstall then Reinstall. Update your Service Center.

Is the X1 plugged in the same USB port as it used to be ?
