laptop fn key mapp?
Ok so to be able to use my f1 f2 f3 f4 ect.. keys i have to hold down fn otherwise they are multimedia keys. Is there a way i can turn the Function keys on full time so i dont need to keep pressing fn to use them?
Mac or PC? On a Mac go to System Preferences, click on keyboard, click on keyboard in the next window also and check the box that says use the f1, f2 keys as standard keys.

Not sure will probably need to tell folks what computer and os your using.

Did a little searching for you and found this. It’s on a DV7, but I suspect it would be similar.
