Laptop Power Issue

when im mixing/recording my screen will randomly flicker to a low brightness back up to a higher one and traktor will spasm. does this mean one of my controllers is demanding too much power?

never had this happen through my 3 years of working on computers. im scared D:

Do you have power saving turned on for the USB ports. If so it needs to be off.

Yes all power management settings are done, it runs on high performance, set so it focuses on background tasks.

Can you replicate the issue using other USB devices?
