I want to get a Dell Adamo as my new DJ only laptop… and I really don’t want to hear about how much PC sucks and I should get a Mac. Here’s the specs:
2.1ghz core 2 duo
4GB DDR3 @800 mhz (bummer it’s not 1066…)
256GB SSD
What I could use an opinion on is whether is should dual boot xp and windows 7. Would there be any benefit because I’ve heard Traktor pro runs better on xp. Also, would the vci-100 and the NI Audio 4 DJ run on xp? thanks for any help you can offer (other than buy a mac…ain’t happenin)

Just stick xp only on it if its going to be dj only. Vci and audio4 will run on xp for sure

i use a dell only to dj with. it took me a while to get everything working correctly without crashing and the audio sounding good. be aware of that.
