latency drop outs in vista → trivial solution

so i had the problem when using tpro and browsing through the windows explorer i got sound drop out en masse. so i was following all the tweaking advices but nothing worked. i was damn frustrated. and then it came to my mind that i could change my windows design to classic view…and voila it works like a charme! lucky me and stupid vista!

first thing i did before running traktor was set-up a 2nd user and set it to basic, up’d to 7 2 days ago and keeping things that way - should make for even better performance given the vista vs 7 performance, not tried traktor on it yet - work, family stuff etc…
