# LaunchKey 61 Will Only Work on My Old Macbook

**LaunchKey 61 Will Only Work on My Old Macbook**

whats up with this.  
all versions of ableton will NOT be able to control the launchKey61 except my super old mac from 2007.

i use ableton live 9 with it. it works fine on the old crap computer.  
but with the newer computers - retina displays, imac etc…  
it will light up SOMETIMES .. and will send ONE note to the computer, then just not work at all.  
the software recognizes it’s connected.  
but i have zero control.

anyone else have this issue with the launch key?
