Launchpad messing with CNTRLR

Hey guys

I use both launchpad and cntrlr in traktor

whenever I press note A3 on the launchpad, it also turns it on the CNTRLR which is really annoying.
It seems like it is only interfering with my traktor mapping, not abletons.

Routing in traktor:

-CNTRLR: in=BMT1 out=BMT1
-Launchpad: in=launchpad out=launchpad

Is there a way I could bypass this without having to change channel or remap every cc/note?

I never used Novation controllers but I had this same kind of issue with almost any bit of gear from AKAI (I think it was a firmware thing)

Hopefully it’s not the same deal with your Launchpad. Which currently sounds like it is.

How did you fix/bypassed this?

I guess I could remap with bomes the launchpad or at least the notes in common with CNTRLR, but the LED notes cannot be changed…

There was no fix. Their firmware seems to be always open to all ports…

Ill try an update of the firmware, who knows..

If not I’ll have to remap cntrlr via editor & modify remote scripts and shit and all my mappings :cry:

I feel you bro. I bought APC mini in hope to use it as a modifier state display in traktor (for it’s 8x8 grid) only to run in to a same problem… I guess that we can’t expect much more from the entry level controllers anyways :slight_smile:
