CDJs on a washer and a dryer sounds like a terrible idea if those are actually in use. I can’t imagine those vibrations are good for the motors or the optics. That said - nice setup. I’m jelly.
I don’t think I’ve ever actually put a CD in them. Except for when I was testing out an enchanced CD.
About $4500+ worth of gear chillin on a washer/dryer…thats just weird
My thought exactly…like driving a Ferrari on wooden wheels![]()
Just looking at all of the detergent, bleach, chemicals, etc., I see so much potential for bad things to happen.
I’m wondering what happens when you have to DJ and do laundry at the same time
Well, While you mix you will fell the vibe!!! ![]()
I use Skrillex, washes out every bit of dirt!
random though I have the same washing machine -_- but hey you gotta do what you gotta do. Practice where you can.
its only a matter of time before pioneer comes out with a cdj/mixer/washer/dryer combo
so whens the next spin cycle?
So he spins dubstep then? lol.
because desk is too mainstream
nice setup!
Yeah, I don’t have any cash for an Ikea run surprisingly, so the washers holding me over till payday.
I think so. Channel 3, live input, permanent press FX
Do you think that one day you might want to? Because if so you might want to relocate or at least put some vibration reduction between them and the machines. Even a piece of wood with some rubber/half tennis-ball feet underneath it would help. Sensitive multi-thousand-dollar electronics + serious vibration = bad news bears in the long-run. It’s kind of like the people who put their laptops on top of studio monitors as a laptop stand. The monitors are usually magnetically shielded, and you’ll probably be fine… but if you’re slowly killing your hard drive (and thus all of your data) by doing so, is it really worth it?
I c wat u did thar.
