Does anybody have those illuminated usb cables? wondering if they are good quality?

I have narrowed those down to ion audio. Although, they are not being made anymore for what reason, I don’t know. I contacted them a couple months back about it and they said that they can’t special order any either. I’m sure that they pulled some strings for dj endo though.

[EDIT: Anyone got any idea what kind of power they draw??? For a multi controller set-up you’ll want to keep as much power as possible for your controllers. Pretty lights won’t help when you start getting audio glitches…]
Shouldn’t you just be using a powered USB hub anyway? With power floating about 4 - 6v, with USB ports usually being 5v. Don;t see the LEDs much of a problem to be honest. Saying that, I don;t really understand the tech. Just trying to sound like I do! 
I’ve used them, the power consumtion isn’t noticeable, It’s a tiny LED.

i bought a few, but found that the build quality was really poor, and that,IMO they seemed more laggy than normal USB cables whether there is any merit to that or not, that is what I observed. I think i’m gonna check out the belkin ones and if they are cheap build then i’m just gonna give up on light-up usb cables.
