Where did the descriptor “pants” come from and how, exactly is it used? Is it one of those rhyming things? It seems to describe something “not so good”, was it meant to replace shite? Just curious about it origins really.
Oh and SirReal - if we are talking about language:
Your sig ‘Walking a fine line between stupidity and genious’ is veering towards the stoopid-fresh at the moment. ‘Genious’ is spelt ‘genius’, no matter which side of the pond you are from!
@lethal
in American slang, “gash” can reference a certain part of the female anatomy. In case you were unaware. So I gues the new sig works on many different levels
pants ! - A 90’s term that seems to be very popular recently. It can be used as an exclamation of frustration (much in the way that ‘arse !’ is) or to describe something that is bad or rubbish. i.e. “Did you watch the Arsenal match, wasn’t it pants ?”. Some times prefixed by ‘a load of old’ or ‘complete’.
Don’t know why the 90’s though?
@ SirReal - that sig works on so many levels!!! Made me chuckle!!
