Live Mashup: Rubber Spanner/Laforcah/Prince - When Doves Drop (like Flies)
Hi - this is a video I did of two tracks I mashed together in at an industrial clubnight I played in Manchester Feb 2014. Prince was in town that night and kinda inspired me to try and get one of his tracks in by mashing it with something quite slamming, and I played it with the Laforcah remix of Rubber Spanner’s ‘Drop Like Flies’.
Since then I played around with it as liked how they went together and a couple of weeks back I got a pair of CDJ 1000s, so this afternoon I had a go mashing them together and using my RMX 1000 to add to the carnage and this is what I got. The video and audio are slightly off (I need to get better video software) but hope you like it.
