So after that post about dj logos, I happened to need to whip up one of my one right after i noticed it. Thought I would ask for your critique…

good work, im no designer but i like it. if it were mine i’d change the “O” into… something-i dont know what. not a vinyl tho thats too cliche

yeah i know what you mean, I thought of that but I couldnt figure out how to get around the cliche aspect. so i figure i would just leave it as implied instead of obvious.

its looks nice, but I would move the “DOWN” futher down so it doesnt touch the “O”

or

if you leave it as is…a vinyl would be nice and the “W” be a tonearm.
But it would take the simple look out of it.

Still good job, I need to work on mine

one of my good friends who does graphic design noticed that w as the tonearm too, but i completely agree that it would kill the simplicity
