Logitech z-5500

I know most of you are into the big speakers for gigs and shows, but I was wondering if any of you have ever used the Logitech z-5500, they are pc speakers, but they pack a punch, i’m thinking of maybe using them for house parties this summer when I move into my new house with my buddies for uni. Plus, I don’t really own an amplifier, and this baby amplifies the sound right from its controller.

oh, and I would connect it to my macbook pro via optical out.

ive used them for a house party before and they worked ok, they dont work well if in a large room with lots of people. it just depends on the circumstances.

I have used worse though :wink:
