Looking for a 4 deck Traktor map for Allen & Heath K1
Hi
I’m trying to get a Traktor map for my K1 for play sync transport loops fx etc so sit alongside my DB4 which I also just purchased. Does anyone have a good one. Tried to import the Frank Kvitta one but can’t get it to work. Any help would be appreciates.
A K2 map should work just as good as a K1 map. I’m fairly sure (someone else can maybe confirm this) that A&H didn’t make any changes to the K1 to prevent maps from working.
I think there are a lot more K2 maps floating around that should do what you need.
I’ve sent Allen & Heath a message about tying to get this to work. The Frank Kvitta one I downloaded is the one I would like and also the layout off decks CABD same and my DB4 mixer. Just got both mixer and K1 yesterday so just trying to get it set up and it’s all new. Thought someone on here would be able to help be quicker since its full of techies 
Does the mapping you are trying to use not work at all? Have you checked which midi channel the mapping uses? Have you got the in & out ports set in controller manager?

I’ve just found the map you are using and it says it uses channel 14, you may need to change the midi channel on your K1 to get that mapping working
Cool! How do I set the midi channel on K1? What ins and outs do I have them at? No doesn’t work at all. I’ve got it connected to my DB4 via xlink.
Page 12 of this guide shows you how to change the channel,it’s easier to just link it than try and explain it.
If you import the mapping via the button in the bottom left corner of the screen of controller manager it should set the in port and out port automatically.
Cheers for that mate great help. The mapping works now but not all the same functions as described on the pdf sheet. Wonder if it’s to do with a newer version of Traktor?
It could be, there’s other on this forum who are more experienced with ironing out mapping issues.
I’d recommend trying some of the K1 or K2 maps from maps.djtechtools.com you’ll find some really creative ideas there.
