looking for a mixer for my setup
hey everybody!
i am lookin for a mixer that will fit my setup, i own 2x1210, apc 40, serato scratch live (but thinkn about buying traktor) and a ableton live.
i would like to hoot it allt things tolgether in some way.
atm i own old behringer dx 500,

i heard a bit that DDM4000 have some quality issue, but i never tested so i cannot say its true,
Check ebay and keep checking, bargains do appear if you are willing to wait. I would rather buy a djm or an A & H in good condition than a brand new behringer.
i mostly play on djm in clubs but at home i want someting that works in longterm so i want to buy a brand new.
What A & H would you recommend?
xone:42, xone:92 or xone:4d (midi controls on the 4d would be useful for ableton)
Reloop RMX-40
was voted best under €800 mixer a while back. And that while it’s only about €350,-
Very nice mixer, similar layout to the DJM mixers so you dont have to get used to it that much.
Xone 92 is used by alot of big names. seems like a great mixer too, and it’s a midi controller too.
+1 for the DDM4000
I have had one for over 2 years, and it has seen constant abuse, being taken out of the bedroom constantly.
And, I am strongly considering buying another…
A used DJM in good condition will last forever in home use tbh.
How many channels do you need? If it’s only 2 I love the A & H 22, personally or the 42 for 4 channel.

Is that cos half the controls are broken after 2 years but it’s cheap? 
jk I’ve never used one and have no idea about their reliability. You certainly get bang for your buck.
well as i said i play on djm in clubs so it kinda borring have same mixer at home i kina get intressted in A&H 42 or 92, midi well yeah that would be cool but in other way i use APC40 as my midi controller. my budget well someting about max 1 500 eu

don’t rule out ecler either. They make some very nice mixers. A&H make amazing filters and EQ though.
I have a uk-made xone:62 that someone painted blue that I’d let go for about that cost of the behringer. PM me if you’re interested and in the continental US (international shipping would be a pain).
You’d need an interface for Ableton if you don’t have one already, but I could potentially help you out there too.

The only thing weirder than having a xone in my bedroom is having a xone in my bedroom that I’m not using.

No, actually.
Its “cos” I think it is a quality mixer, that has every feature I could ask for, and then some.
It would be my dedicated studio mixer, whereas the one I have now, would be the one that goes out.
But barring that, the other hand of my decision is the new NOX 606 That is coming out in the third quarter this year.

And those NOX mixers look quality.
