I listened to your mix while preparing a sandwich. I listened on the Klipschs with the sub turned off. Here’s my feedback.

  • What’s up with the weird mixer hum at the start, and why is the intro so quiet? This sounded like technical difficulties.

  • I was ok with your tracklist, though it was a bit more.. um.. mainstream.. than I usually care for? I believe most of your stuff sounded pretty reasonable in terms of harmonic mixes. I think on its own terms the mix makes sense as a progression, though there isn’t a lot of push and pull in terms of energy level.

  • It seems from looking at your waveforms that you may be slamming your levels sometimes, and that your volume levels are a bit uneven. Perhaps this is a sign that you need to use more EQ?

Yeah, I also noticed the hum at the beginning. It sounds like a computer cooler not running well in the background. Other than that, the music isn’t my cup of tea, but the mixes are pretty good, as far as I could tell. Good job.

The hum is my mixer, its the next thing to be replaced!
