Loop lenght display
I’m currently mapping the loop lenght display on the s4 (I never realised that they added that option previously) and I need some inspiration or a good idea.
I put that here instead of the s4 forum as it may relate to those who mapped their f1.
I mapped the 7 segment display correctly using the cc send from 0 to 127 so it gives something like that:
(1st numbers are controller range/ 2nd is the midi range/3rd is the loop value - ‘from to’ when you move the encoder). All commands have the blend option ticked.
0/1->X-116 (1/32 to 1/16)
1/2->116-108 (1/16 to 1/8)
2/3->108-104 (1/8 to 1/4)
3/4->104-102 (1/4 to 1/2)
4/5->102-1 (1/2 to 1)
5/6->1-2 (1 to 2)
6/7->2-4 (2 to 4)
7/8->4-8 (4 to 8
8/9->8-16 (8 to 16)
9/10->16-32 (16 to 32).
Now my question is how the hell do I map the “value” 1/32 as obviously the range 132 doesn’t exist,127 being the max range
I suppose it can’t so in case I’m right, does someone has a good idea to represent that 1/32? 23? any other idea? Or did I just plainly missed how 1/32 CAN be mapped?
