Iv been moochin’ around the NI forums and noticed a lot of threads about the audio 4/8 cracklin and poppin on the unibodies! Any body on here had this issue? secondly, someone made a comment about to make traktor work properly you need the ‘GT’ graphics card and not the built in ‘M’ one?
Im fairly gutted as I was going to buy an audio 8 and a macbook pro. Can’t justify paying 200 pound more for a ‘GT’ graphics card and especially if its going to crack and pop like my old dell.
Whoever told you that you need the GT graphics card is a liar.
Sure, it may run infiintisemally faster, but I can garuntee you won’t notice. I’m running Traktor on a netbook (nothing but integrated graphics) and it works fine.
But the audio 8 is an audio card and not related to graphics. That confuses me.
I’d call NI customer service to see if they know if anybody reports issues about it, 'cause it seems like a silly thing, but I must admit I don’t know enough about drivers and how they work to say for sure that it is a silly thing.
