Maintaining and making USB Cables soft and flexible?
Does anyone know how to maintain USB cables and make them more pliable and flexible? They are so stiff out of the package, I have heard you can use vaseline on the outside of the cable which will soften and make the cable pliable and flexible, is this true?

Yes any oil based product will loosen (ALTHOUGH TECHNICALLY WEAKENING IT) any rubber or plastic porous material, ie, condoms. Same principle. Just be careful, instead of babies or STDs (hahaha what a comparison) getting inside, you’ll have conductive jelly that’ll wreak havoc on your power distribution… most likely not… but if you used 58 lbs of vaseline…
