Making an electronic drumkit with arduino : The structure
Hello !
I’m currently trying to build an electronic drum kit and I have some trouble to find the right (cheap) structure for it.
My project, for which I’m going to provide pictures during the buildong process, is aimed to find an easy and cheap way to build an electronic drum kit. I bought many WII, XBOX and PS Guitar & Band hero drum kits on Kijiji. I disassembled them to get the pads (basically, foam + piezos). I just ordered an Arduino Circuit with a Mux so I can plug a large amount of pads. Now I’m wondering how I can find something to get all this mess standing !
I went to some local stores looking for plastic or metal tubes, but it lacked the possibility to adjust dimensions and orientation of the “arms”. So, basically, i’m trying to find something which looks like an official electronic drum rack, but that would be way cheaper.
