Manchester in the house?
Is there any peeps in or around manchester knocking around on these forums? Ive recently been looking into the groups thing on this forum and doesnt seem to be any manchester centric ones. Are the groups even that active?

Hey guys its good to know, one reason i signed up to these forums was to see if there are any like minded peeps from around my neck of the woods, im from macclesfield - i put manchester as my profile location as nobody knows anything about macc other than if you have any interest in the silk industry around 100 years ago. What sort of music you guys into? I play techno and tech house and tend to dabble in some laid back dub techno and minimal whenever i feel like it

I play a mixed bag. Acid, house, techno and trance. 120-160 bpm

seems there a more people than i originally thought, i was thinking this thread was going to be dead in the water. I have set up a group if any of you want to join, i figure since we are all fairly local we can give each other some honest unbiased feedback with any sets, productions or events people want to share, who knows maybe we can organise a meet or some jamming sessions or even events of our own
What gear do you all use to DJ or produce?
Gear is in my sig, but currently playing with a S5 for a review and just bought myself a Korg Volca Beats drum machine which has made me want the rest of the range.
Im rocking technics 1210 mk 2’s, DJM 600 (I know its ancient but just can’t bring myself to part with it) and i run Traktor on a macbook pro (2012 I7 quad core) and APC40, For producing i run ableton standard with the APC40 and a MPD 24 - pretty basic stuff but Im currently weighing up having an overhaul of my kit so all this will likely change in the next 6 months, i want to add a TR-8 and D2’s and upgrade to an Audio 10 soundcard…and then there is push 2 
Warrington here, i play all kinds of house. Currently using 2 x technics 1210s mk2, s4 with macbook running traktor. Just managed to record a new mix yesterday too. Its in the mix section…ive djd mainly in warrington over the yewrs but did venture out to bolton for a while.
