mapping EGE like for regular VCI-400
been searching a lot for a mapping like the EGE but for regular VCI-400 and i couldn’t found anything.
so now i’m thinking about making some kind of port of EGE mapping, but that will take me a while.
does anybody know if there are some similar projects like this?
have you checked traktor bible? there are some mappings which come close to the EGE. jogwheel fx and stuff..
checked and there no mapping just like EGE version. there are only mappings that simulate some of the features not exact copy of the original of Ean.

an exact copy is not possible because of the special firmware of the EGE.
well, that’s why i post “i’m thinking about making some kind of port of EGE mapping”.
as far as i know, there are a few (3?) main difference between EGE firmware and the regular. so, almost all main features of that mapping could be implemented on regular VCI-400. the differences could be similated/adapted in a difference way.

it’s probably some work, but i’d take the EGE mapping, see what’s not working (i think it’s pretty much) and remap this.
really? for that you must have a regular VCI-400 hardware. could you do it? it would be great!

i sold my regular vci400 last week. don’t you have a normal vci400 (i guess, since you’re asking for a mapping). just download the tsi for the EGE and start remapping.
