I’m almost done my LP map for T2P - 4 decks (2 tracks, 2 sample decks) got LED feedback and the whole bit. If anyone wants to take a look I’ll share when done. (also using a nanoKONTROL for FX, but I might remap the buttons onto the LP, not sure yet… nice to have a thumb on the button and a finger on the fader for fx amount…)
ANYWAY, can’t for the LIFE of me (I’m new to Traktor, be nice! I’m trying!) figure out which to use when: sample trigger, sample play, and slot start/stop.
Any and all help will be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance!!!
I assume its like this just based on the names:
sample trigger - button press activates sample until button is released
sample play - button press plays sample, next press stops sample and returns to start
slot start/stop - button press plays sample, next press stops sample but does not return to start
edit: upon further inspection the same thing can be accomplished with the different controls by changing the assignment mode, I’m guessing that’s the cause of confusion
