I am seriously considering buying a Maschine. Some questions:

  1. How compatible is it with Traktor Pro? Both are NI.
  2. It is merely for beat production? Or can one compose remixes etc. with it?

Sorry if they are noob questions, this will be my first foray into production. Only DJing so far.

they have a pre made mapping for traktor pro. so it works with tpro. Um its for really what ever you want. You can remix, and compose full songs, they have instruments and synths that are included that you can play using a midi keyboard. And since its a midi device it can be mapped to what ever you want i think

It seems like it would suit my needs. Companion controller to VCI SE and also for production/beat making. Seems like the new update is killer.
