Maschine. Kick drum distortion.

Just go myself a MacBook Pro yesterday. This is my first time using a mac so not very clued up in it all yet.

All the kick drums have a weird tinny and distorted noise to them and I’ve no idea what it could be. It worked fine on my PC. I’m using the same soundcard, Fast Track Pro. When I switch to the macs own soundcard it sounds fine. I’ve tried installing the drivers for the soundcard twice now but still no luck. Anyone got any ideas?

try plugging your sound card into a different usb port

I’ve tried that and makes no difference.

As I’m not clued up on the mac does it make a difference if its running in 64bit compared to 32?
