This is a song I just threw together in about 8 hours, and may spend some more time perfecting it.
EDIT! :
I just sent this track to Porter Robinson and got some GREAT feedback! I’m also buying some Mackie MR8’s to start producing with! If all goes well I’ll have a great track when I spend about a week fixing things with Porters feedback and the balanced speakers. So for now, the original mix is to just hold off until the completely re-mastered, and refinished track. I will post when it’s done, which will be within a week. If anybody wants anything to be added to, and or changed, please tell me before next Monday!
Great idea, maybe ill do a remix of my own track or just release a club mix and incorporate your idea, and I agree that there needs to be more bass parts.

Great chords, builds, drama, WOBBLES are spot on and actually used with taste!
At around 50 when you blend in that bass build I was thinking a sweet bass line was coming! ALthough the build makes sense… I just love a good bass line.
Wow thank you so much for your insight, and I like how you used drama to describe the track, it fits it perfectly. And I’m glad someone noticed the wobbles, because they took forever to sound the way I wanted them too.
And about the build, I think I’m going to add a root noted bassline because it adds suspense and I know exactly how you feel a bassline coming on, and don’t get it.
Forever? You finished it in 8 hours! I need to know how you can get a workflow like that, this tune is absolutely incredible. Dramatic is exactly the right way to describe it, really well structured to keep things interesting - I’d love a copy of it
Hahaha, thanks so much! And the workflow I stole from Porter Robinson, in an interview, he said he would start at the beginning of a track, and wouldn’t move on until he was satisfied with what he was working on. So I took this, and forced myself to complete it with this workflow, and hey! It worked!
Also, I put a new version up with a bassline after about 43 sec into to satisfy the build (your welcome ColemanT ) , and a download link on media fire that you can find on the first post.
And about that wobble, I may have finished it in 8 hours, but that dang sound always seemed readjusting
Not bad at all, I like the first break a lot, and when you bring in the keys again over the main part-- it gives the track character (and that’s valuable in dance music). The intro’s pretty basic, and you need to pan the synths out-- even though the drums are about the same volume as the synths (bassline included) the latter seems quiet in comparison.
Thanks for the critisim, and I agree the intros pretty basic, but I believe there’s not much substance to the song, so it just makes sense, but then again I could be wrong. Ill make a very sophisticated intro in my next track. And I ment to pan the synths out, but I never really thought about it while finishing the track, dang it and thanks for the notice of the bass, I think it may sound quiet because I was always turning it down because
my speakers and headphones are real bass heavy, and I wanted smooth transitions between synths, but I should be able to fix this as I’m going to get some studio monitors soon.
Thanks ron for your support again
Ill work on a new track this weekend and try to have it up Monday with these new ideas
Also, this is off topic, but does anyone have any monitor suggestions?
