Master icon lighting up
Just got the S4 but when i switched it on after installing the software. The lights flash on then the master icon switches orange. What wrong?
Please help me
The master icon should light up. It just means you are set to master clock. What happens when you play a track? Are there any issues with the s4 working?
Thats the thing the only light that is on is the master. Nothing else im a total noob to traktor and i dont have a clue what to do. Im not noob to hardware do. Do i have to set things up in traktor to get the led lights to stay on?? Where is the mapping data that i import? Could you give a over view or a link to a good indepth tutorial on how i set thing up
Are you powering the The s4 through the USB cable or also with the power socket?
I was using a older numark ac adapter that worked fine because i didnt knw you could power it threw usb i was using both usb & adapter. But now i switched to just usb and its the same. Only the master lights orange after power up.
What happens when you power up your Traktor kontrol?
That older unmark adapter might have been too many mAh and fucked the board.
Why didn’t you use the included power adapter?
I didnt even get one haha nevermind i finally got it working last night all it was i didnt stick to the installation process. How do you map things to get the fx to work.
And where do you copy and paste the mappings? Where do you load them then?
Please don’t think I’m being a dick but you can (and should) learn all that from reading the manual. Like I said not being a dick but those questions really are questions you don’t need to be asking!!
Haha didnt get a manual either mate thats why i am asking for some good tutorials you may no about.

You need to go search on the subjects you need help on. It’s appropriate to expect people to answer very exceptionally broad questions when they have already been answered in detail. The FX issue alone is like asking someone to write a thread to teach you French. EVERYTHING you need is on this forum but also check out DJTechtools, Native Instruments, digitaldjtips, mrbedroomdj, and a 1000 other YT channels.
Most importantly, go to amazon and buy a copy of the Traktor Bible.
Now go learn!!! 
Ok thanks for the heads up. Im not a total noob do i am a producer of 4 years now and used to have old numark decks and cd ones untill i wanted to start making my own.

How did you not get the set up guide and power adapter? Did you buy it used and they weren’t included?
Or was it a snatch and grab 5 finger discount? (j/k)
BTW the Traktor manual is in the Traktor folder (in my docs on pc), or hit the help tab in Traktor and it will take you to it.
Did you torrent the software? Sometimes I think the torrents don’t come with manuals.
How the F did u get a Kontrol S4 without a manual, or power adapter, yet you got the installation CD.
