So my day job is as a commercial / viral producer and my last gig was for this new Sony Cybershot WX5…
The party scene required a dj and we looked at a few but none quite fitted the bill… so i thought “you need something doing properly… do it yourself”
also, i knew that we needed to actually get a good vibe on the set to get decent material… and i thought it’d be a laugh to get my mug in there anyway haha.
You can even see my VCI-100 making a little appearance in one of the split screens, bottom right corner. (there were decks but they were just props, the set i played was through my vci)
NB the cheesy high five was the director’s idea, and the music used in the actual vid wasn’t my idea either…
Anyway, check it out, i’m pretty happy with how the whole vid came out too, though it’s obviously a little cheesy

Awesome commercial bro’, cheesy high five isn’t as cheesy as you’d think, if you ask me. Like you said, it’s all about the good vibe, and that high five was just an icing on the cake!
do you know what, I do always use those sony headphones anyway… which was a nice touch.
But as i’m a mac man, rather than sony viao man, we had to get some hotties to stand in front of the glowing apple logo the whole time haha… i wasn’t complaining too much
