MBP Video out
So i got an adapter to connect my TV to my MB, via the thunderbolt? connection, But nothing comes up on the tv, all i get is the purple space apple wallpaper that you get on macs, is there something im not doing?

Yep. You’re not putting anything on the screen by the sounds of things. By default it’s a separate monitor and not a mirror, so if you drag something off the right hand side of your macbook monitor it should turn up on the TV. You can set it to mirror the main monitor in screen prefs.
