MC3000 no sound to amp or headphones through denon asio driver

hey,

search function ain’t working properly for me and found this thread with a similar problem as me Denon MC3000 speaker problem., just bought the mc3000 and having a hell of a hard time trying to get it to work

that thread doesn’t go in to enough detail to help and i’ve looked at most things suggested in that thread but not getting any sound out still.

what it’s like now

mc3000 - unbalanced rca’s to amp, usb cable to pc
installed traktor le
installed asio driver
setup wizard with traktor, external controller, internal mixer
mc3000 controls traktor on the pc but no sound is being outputted to the amp or headphones even with cue
volumes all up in traktor, mc3000 and amp

traktor audio device is set to denon asio driver
output
mixing mode - internal
monitor, R mc3000 3, L mc3000 4
master, R mc3000 1, L mc3000 2

denon asio software has a tick next to the mc3000

denon suggested that i reset the mc3000 by holding back>fwd>cf control and powering up, keep on holding those buttons till the light sequence finishes and try to set traktor again but this time with mc3000 LE

no luck with that either, i’ve emailed them again but haven’t got a response yet.

very keen to get this up and running, but am having no luck.

is there anything obvious that i might have left out?

note: when i change it to my soundcard driver in traktor, i get audio out of my speakers.

  • i also installed home edition of VDJ where sound came out of it, but that doesn’t work anymore either. vdj home has been uninstalled.

  • tired to update the controller mappings as well, but have no idea where to update it in traktor, when i go to the controller tab and click the add button, the add button does nothing.

thanks in advance for any help.

If the MC3000 is like my MC6000, then the outputs are labeled the wrong way round. Outputs 1 and 2 are the headphone output, outputs 3 and 4 are the main output. Try swapping them round in the output routing and see if that solves the problem.
